Livia is more than pleased to invite you to her lovely, spacious hideaway overlooking the most beautiful square of Amsterdam: The Amstelveld. A stone throw away from the famous Prinsengracht and the seven bridges, this recently renovated apartment offers all the comfort and luxury you may expect in a contemporary home. The many authentic characteristics of this 18th century building and detailed interior have been perfectly combined, creating a warm and cosy place which will make you feel at home right away.

The apartment is elegantly styled throughout and features a high ceiling and large windows, allowing an abundance of natural light into the apartment. The spacious living area with a large antique fireplace and some fine pieces of antique Indian art, features a comfortable sofa, pouf, flat screen, making it a great space to sit and relax after a long day of work or exploring the city. The adjoining open kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, oven/microwave and a dining table which can seat 8 persons. Six French doors give access to the large balcony on the backside of this floor, allowing an abundance of natural light and fresh air into the apartment. A perfect spot to enjoy your home cooked meals together with your family or friends. The three beautifully decorated bedrooms are located on the top floor of the apartment. They offer a double bed and more than enough storage room. The large French doors in the master bedroom allow access to the balcony. The family bathroom features a bath, shower, sink and toilet. This beautifully and historic apartment is a perfect hideaway for families with children, couples and business guests seeking for a comfortable stay in Amsterdam.

The location

Livia’s Hideaway 3 is wonderfully situated on, without any doubt, the most beautiful spot of the famous canal belt, overlooking the spacious Amsterveld square and Prinsengracht. This peaceful yet lively area has a lot to offer and creates the perfect opportunity for you to experience Amsterdam as a local. The Utrechtstreet and Rembrands square are just around the corner offering you a very nice selection of cool bars, local restaurants and trendy shops. Within 5 minutes walking distance you can find popular places such as the Amstel river, Hermitage Museum and Carré Royal Theatre. The Anne Frank House and museum square, home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and museum of modern art, are just a 15-minute stroll away. Several picnic tables are situated just outside of the apartment which are at your disposal. It is a beautiful setting to enjoy each others company after a warm summer day, while your children are enjoying the playground on the Amstelveld square. The city is easily accessible by tram however, bike and boat rental are just around the corner.

Please note that this apartment is located in a residential area and therefore is not suitable for guests with the intention to party. Also please note that due to the Dutch architecture style of the building the apartment is only accessible through a steep stairway. Therefore, this apartment might not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
