On the cosy and peaceful Hermonystreet, just outside the canal belt area, this recently renovated apartment offers all the comfort and luxury you may expect in a contemporary home. The apartment still boosts all the 19^th century characteristics such as the traditional fireplace and beamed ceiling, creating an authentic jet modern hideaway for you to enjoy.

This unique and bright apartment features a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa, pouf, flat screen and two unique coffee tables. The adjoining dining area and kitchen create a beautiful open and cosy setting were you and your family or friends can enjoy each others company after an exciting day of sightseeing or work. Prepare your home made recipes in your own fully equipped kitchen which offers you a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and microwave. The three bedrooms are lovely decorated and two of them are located at the backside of the apartment. All three rooms offer a double bed and more than enough storage room. The family bathroom features a bath/shower combination, sink and toilet. This charming apartment, located just outside the famous canal belt, offers you a peaceful and cosy stay in Amsterdam and is an ideal hideaway for families with children, couples and guests traveling for business. 

The location

Livia’s Hideaway 8 benefits from a desirable location in the young and characterful neighbourhood known as De Pijp. Situated in the south east part of Amsterdam, this charming district allows you to experience authentic local life unspoilt by tourist crowds. Options for entertainment and culinary experiences are vast and varied within this area, ranging from a simple stroll along the banks of the Amstel River to a lively evening visiting local café and bars. Visit the popular Albert Cuyp streetmarket which is just around the corner to stock up your fridge with delicious fresh products and treats. This lively and dynamic area has a lot to offer and creates the perfect opportunity to experience local life in Amsterdam. Within 10 minutes walking distance you can find popular places such as the Rembrand square, Hermitage Museum and Carré Royal Theatre. The museum square, home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and museum of modern art, is just a 15-minute stroll away. Other famous landmarks such as the Royal Palace at Dam Square and the Anne Frank House are easily accessible. The Hemonystraat is a very quiet street because there are no cars allowed. It’s only accessible for pedestrians and bikers and there’s also a nice and safe playground for little kids.

Also please note that due to the Dutch architecture style of the building the apartment is only accessible through a steep stairway. Therefore, this apartment might not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
